bridgette
Bridgette believes reading is more than a pastime. She sees it as a powerful way to connect, grow, and find courage. Through books, she has explored strange worlds and discovered new ideas and voices, finding comfort and inspiration.
Bridgette's passion for literacy comes from the belief that everyone deserves access to stories that empower and educate. To Bridgette, fostering a love of reading helps build confidence, creativity, and stronger communities.
Han
Han has found solace in the act of reading ever since the Dr. Seuss days, and sincerely hopes that everyone is granted the same opportunity to lose (or find!) themselves in a good book. Reading has enabled them to learn, grow, and better themselves in more ways than we can count, and the belief that there is a piece of literature out there for everyone is what drives Han's passion for literacy.
Strong bonds within a community drive growth, common interests foster those bonds, and a shared love of reading is one of the simplest, most accessible interests that can bring a community together.
